Food is an important part of any culture. Generally in Asian culture inviting someone to eat or asking someone if they have eaten is an act of showing warm welcome and we care about the person. ‘Awak Dah Makan’ which means have you eaten in Malay language is always come after we greet someone by asking how are you, and that is how the Asian hospitality is.
